A new Customizing Challenge is upon us, and we’re back to more Original Trilogy goodness with this one – Jabba’s Entourage! Of course though, as with all Yakfinities, customizers can branch out and create fan fiction characters, and certainly the prequels and Clone Wars characters that are part of Jabba’s gang are fair game too.
Whether you are a crafty veteran customizer or have never even attempted to make a custom figure, we welcome you to join in Yakfinities #52 – Jabba’s Entourage and show off what you’ve got! As always, we’ll have some random prize winners selected after this wraps up at the end of June.
The most recent Yakfinities Customizing Challenge has come to a close, and with 50 entries, there are plenty of great custom figures in our forum gallery for your viewing pleasure! Check our the Roundup Report in the forums, and see who is walking away with prizes!
Our very own localgotal strikes back with another stellar Concept Series update this week, and it’s one that a lot of fans have been hoping would see action figure form for decades now. While a bit of a controversial character, it’s hard to imagine it wouldn’t fit right in with the old Comic Packs format that Hasbro used to excel at. Chomping at the bit to see what this is? Then head on over to the forums and feast your eyes on this latest concept!
The guys at TwelfthParsec, who are bringing out some great looking Space Trees playsets, have asked us to help spread the word that their goal has been met, but if they can reach a Bonus Goal, everyone who contributes to their campaign will receive a special Torch Railing with their set. However, time is running out to get in on this deal! Click on the above image for more details, or head on over to the forums to share your thoughts.

Toys”R”us locations are marking down quite a few older Star Wars items right now, which includes a variety of items that you’ve probably seen at your store for quite some time. As always your mileage and finds will vary — but if you’ve got a Toys”R”us store in your area, it may be worth your while to swing by and see if you can walk away with a score or two.

Reports continue to come in (though sporadic) of collectors spotting Wave 3 of the Black Series in greater numbers, across various retailers.
We know that Hasbro’s changing their case assortment ratios moving forward, and more of what we see coming appear to be more “in demand” figures and characters than what we’re used to seeing.
Perhaps we are in for a healthier distribution flow in 2014? Agreed? Or do you see this as just a big tease? Share your thoughts after the jump!
