Off topic a bit here, but if you have a Five Below store in your area, you may want to swing by and see if they are stocking GI JOE figures – the ones in my area just started putting GI JOE Retaliation figures out this week, for the awesome price of $5.00 each.
A lot of the later figures from the “movie line” are really great figures, but sadly were not distributed well (a trend we see with Hasbro these days).
Last month, we launched a joint Star Wars: Rebels customizing event with our friends at Imperialshipyards – and so far, we’ve had several great submissions, which you can check out here.
But the clock is ticking, as entries will only be accepted through the end of April! So if you’re interested in taking part in this customizing challenge, head on over to the forums for all the details.
A new Customizing Challenge is upon us, and we’re back to more Original Trilogy goodness with this one – Jabba’s Entourage! Recently, forum member Lance Quazar began an all new Indiana Jones photonovel series that takes place in the final days of World War II… this storyline really captures the grit and enjoyment of the 1980s films we all know and love.
Lance has recently wrapped up a new chapter in this ambitious project, and even if photonovels aren’t your thing, this is a read definitely worth checking out.
