This Week! in Star Wars has posted a tease for next week’s Mando Monday reveal. The design appears to be the abdomen armor for the 6″ Black Series Death Trooper from Rogue One and The Mandalorian. This supports our previous rumor of the Death Trooper returning to the line in the Archive Collection for 2021.
Jedi Insider is reporting on the potential release of a Jedi Training version of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa from The Rise of Skywalker coming to the Black Series line in 2021. They also report the expansion of the 6″ Credit Collection line and through out a couple figure names from The Mandalorian. Head on over for the info.
Armed with some UPC/EAN info, I ventured into Target today to see I could get a hit on the Black Series figures that we exclusively reported on Monday. Low and behold the info is in Target’s system – and it confirms the code names.
With this info some theories can be proposed:
– The price point is indicative of these being exclusive.
– These are individual DPCIs that are not part of an assortment so could they be another wave of Galaxy’s Edge items??? (These figures are also exclusive to ToysRUs in Canada – the retail partner for GE merch in that country.)
– Walmart received an exclusive wave of figures for The Clone Wars – could this be something similar???

Sponsor DorksideToys is now taking preorders for Case, set and individual figures from the new Black Series Archive Wave 1 for 2021. This assortment includes Han Solo (Hoth – Brown Coat), Luke Skywalker (Hoth), Grand Admiral Thrawn and Clone Commander Cody.
Some intel sent to me by an anonymous source reveals 4 new Black Series listings found in a retailer’s system: “Sun”, Snow”, “Wind” and “Rain”. No word who these figures may be or if they may be exclusives.

UPDATE: I managed to find pricing info for these this evening – $24.99 – and to me that says “exclusive”.
Latest shipping data shows that Gamestop Warehouse in Kentucky, has received cases of the 6″ Black Seires Moff Gideon, Greef Karga, Kuiil and Rey (Dark Side Vision) figures. Look for preorders to start filling and store stock soon.
