Good ol’ Yak Face, in his varied forms, has served us well for these past 15 years, but we think a new direction is needed. Our name sake will be gradually phased out and replaced by another highly sought after Vintage Kenner figure – the illusive Sears Exclusive Blue Snaggletooth! The current Yakface URL (www.yakface.com) will also be replaced by a new web addresswww.bluesnaggletooth.com as will our Forums, Facebook and Twitter pages to reflect the change. We hope you like this new vision and be sure watch for even more improvements including an entire site redesign in the next few weeks!

Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald posted on the Disney Parks Blog the skinny on what we can expect to see on Disney’s Star Wars ride starting with this year’s Star Wars Weekends in Florida. There have been some rumblings “on the internets” that there is an impending announcement (within the next 2 months) regarding Celebration 6 and its location which is touted to be a real “surprise”.

The Yakface Toyguide gets a quick update today with the addition of the newly discovered packaging variant for the AT-RT Driver from the Vintage Collection’s Wave 6.
This variation relocates the separately packaged backpack and attached it (upside down) to the figures back. Not sure why they went this route as it seems like an unnecessary change as well as making it look like the figure comes with less “stuff”. Anywho… just a heads up for those still interested in variants.
