Since I’ve been fortunate enough to acquire a few of the exclusive 6″ Clone Captain Rex figures that do not suffer from the dreaded “Shrinky Dink effect” that is plaguing some releases out there, I thought that I’d offer up one of mine for trade. To find out how you can swap one of yours for one of mine, click on through.
I noticed that GameStop has just started processing my order for the exclusive 6″ Black Series Battlefront II Inferno Squadron TIE Pilot. This figure originally had a November 17 release date. Also, the release date for their exclusive Supreme Leader Snoke with Throne as shifted again from Sept. 25 to Oct. 2.
If you’re looking to add Hasbro’s new Obi Wan Kenobi and Yoda figures from The Last Jedi line look, be on the lookout as these have made it into St. Louis area Target stores now.
Good luck and let us know if you’ve found these at retail!
The team at First Order Transmissions is having a raffle to raise funds in an effort to assist those affected by the devastation in Puerto Rico and Mexico City. On October 27, all of those that have donated as little as $10 will be eligible to win one of dozens of prizes offered up from our personal collections as well as donated by followers of our show. As more money is raised, more high-value prizes will be added to the pool. For details, you can check out this post on Facebook and watch our special announcement show on YouTube.
Please help us support this effort by spreading the word and donating. All monies contributed will go directly to the charities promoted.
Thanks to an Instagram post from @flipmode1981, we now know what Supreme Leader Snoke looks like under that fabulous gold robe. Warning: this image may be disturbing to viewers
You may not have realized it, but the new 3.75″ TBS Rose figure is actually an awesome army builder by just doing some head swaps and slapping on some different accessories.
I’ve seen some people not being a huge fan of this figure, but I love it. The fact that it’s got such diversity is just a bonus. So, if you happen to see her pegwarming any, keep in mind she’s got fantastic customizing possibilities so you should pick up an extra just for the fun of it (I’ve already got another one in the works, giving the figure a whole new look).
Time is winding down if you’re planning on creating a custom Mini Rig in our current Yakfinities Customizing Challenge! Entries are due by September 30th, so hurry if you plan on getting in on the fun!
If you ordered the 6″ Admiral Ackbar and First Order Officer 2-pk from ToysRUs.com, be on the lookout for these to be arriving now.
Personal Note: I received my order today, and opened them as soon as I could – these figures could not be any more perfect for the price. This is an amazing set, and I hope we see more 2-pks like this in the future… and if Hasbro puts this sort of care into the return of 3.75″ TVC figures, we’re going to be in for some great times as collectors again soon.
