Stephen Stanton (The Clone Wars) tweeted an image last night showing some signage at Walmart and you’ll notice that the release date for Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion is listed for October 3 – the same day the special airs on the Disney Channel. This contradicts the October 14 release date stated back in August. Signage could be wrong, or Walmart has an exclusive distribution deal with Disney/Lucasfilm.
Still need to track down the Prototype Boba Fett? Walgreens.com has unlocked their “Find a Store” feature to allow you to search for availability* at a store near you.
Facebook follower Lando Griffin sent in this photo of his find today of the “Jedi Reveal” exclusive from Toys”R”Us in Arizona. This score marks the first Star Wars Rebels 3-3/4″ figures to hit retail.
Nice find! Send in your reports if you find this as well.
UPDATE: We can also confirm that the Holographic Obi-Wan is 1 POA with ball-socket articulation at the neck.

Looks like product development at Hasbro for Episode VII is in full swing as seen above in this screen shot from the Speeder Bike development video released earlier today. While nothing is spoiled in terms of character names, you can see that there is a product labeled “SW E7Â secondary hero battler”.
It goes without saying (but I will anyway) that Hasbro has been in “Episode VII mode” for a while now, the purpose of the post is to show the actual, observable “proof” that development has commenced.
ToysRUs is now offering their exclusive Battle on Endor set for $79.99 (Drop it to $59.99 and I’ll bite). Thanks to twitter follower @Cybertronprime for the heads-up.
How did Hasbro create the Black Series Speeder Bike — the first Star Wars toy vehicle made in a 6-inch scale – and its accompanying Biker Scout? In the first installment of Star Wars: From Concept to Collectible, the designers behind the fan-favorite Black Series line of action figures discuss making the new collectible set, from early ideas to design to finished product.
Whether a member of an undefeated empire or part of a rebel alliance, collegiate sports fans know what it means to be part of a legacy. Now college sports fans can celebrate their school pride with the power of the Force sporting a new collection of apparel and accessories featuring iconic designs from the Star Wars saga!
With the new Toys”R”us reset, obviously most of us are hoping this means better things for the collector lineup’s distribution. Today I came across some Wave 4 figures for the first time at a Toys”R”us; which was a sight for sore eyes.
Now is the time to start getting back to the hunt, but as always these days, your chances of success on toy runs are not what they used to be… but perhaps things may be back on the upswing?
