New Star Wars Rebels Images

I picked up a new Star Wars Rebels book today from Toys”R”Us titled Star Wars Rebels: Head-to-Head which matches up characters and vehicles from the new series. It contains a lot of new characters and vehicle details as well as plot points for the series. I posted a sampling of them on our Facebook page, but to remain sensitive to spoilers, I cropped out the plot info from the images.

The softcover book is available now for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of Aug. 26, but you might be able to find yours in-store early as well.

SDCC 2014 Coverage Announcement

As we prepare to gear up our coverage for this year’s SDCC we’d like to suggest that you enable notifications for your mobile devices. We will surely be bombarding our social media channels on Facebook (fb.com/yakfacecom) and Twitter (@yak_face) with news as it breaks  — PRIOR to the news hitting our front page.

We are also conscience that some may not like the constant notfications as well so we suggest turning them OFF if so inclined.

Black Series On Clearance at Target

Well it looks like Hasbro’s and Target’s decision to carry over the Vintage Collection DPCI over to the 3-3/4″ Black Series finally has some benefit. Reports are coming in that various stores are clearancing out their remaining TVC figures for $4.98-$6.98 and that means new Black Series figures are getting the discount too. Update: S.H.Figuarts Yoda Not Coming Soon

BANDAI’s S.H.Figuarts line looks to be breaking into the Star Wars universe with this teaser on Tamashii Nations’ blog. For the uninitiated, S.H.Figuarts produce a line of figures that are intended to replicate, with precision, the natural movements of the human body. It will be interesting to see their approach with Yoda’s species.
