DorksideToys has added the new preorder announcements today for the Black Series and Vintage Collection.
Thanks to a tweet from FunkoPopsNews, we have our first look at two of the long rumored Clone Force 99 members Hunter and Crosshair from “The Bad Batch” as well as the recently rumored Asajj Ventress from the Black Series line. Look for these to be announced officially soon.
Also as a follow up to our recent report of the Deluxe Clone Trooper found in EBGames system, I now believe based on these reveals that the deluxe clone is Wrecker – also from The Bad Batch.
Thanks to anerdydad on Instagram, we now have confirmation of our previous rumor regarding the upcoming TVC “Zutton” figure coming in 2021. As suspected, the figure is a repaint of the Snaggletooth figure from the Target exclusive Special Action Figure set from 2012. Watch for an official announcement and preorder on Nov. 13.
Also officially confirmed today is the rumored Target Exclusive 6″ Black Series Remnant Stormtrooper from The Mandalorian and if you look closely, you can just make out the cape of the upcoming (unannounced) Moff Gideon figure.
Update: This figure is previously code named “Indiana”
Hasbro has officially announced the Black Series Mandalorian Helmet (rumored back in May) as part of today’s Mando Monday reveals. This helmet feature authentic styling, sound fx, lights and a removable tactical light. Price is $119.99 and will be available in April 2021.
For more details and images check out IGN and watch for preorders later today at various retailers including our sponsors, DorksideToys and Entertainment Earth.
It seems fitting that the final goal of 17,000 backers was reached today with the launch of episode 10 of The Mandalorian. This means all Razor Crest backers will receive the Escape Pod, TVC The Child with Pram, Carbonite Blocks, Display Stand and TVC Offworld Jawa Elder. There are still a few days left to back the Crest.
There is also word of another female character joining the Black Series line: Aurra Sing. It is unknown at this time if she will be branded as part of The Phantom Menace or The Clone Wars subgroup of figures but whatever the case I hope we get her in her alternate black outfit as well.
Remember, nothing is official until Hasbro confirms or unannounced product is found at retail.
