Glendale, Calif. (April 12, 2017 – 9:00PM PST) – Disney and Lucasfilm today announced Star Wars Forces of Destiny, a new initiative celebrating the inspiring stories of iconic heroes from across the Star Wars universe. An original series of animated shorts (each 2-3 minutes in length) willexplore exciting, all new adventures of key characters including Rey, Jyn Erso, Sabine Wren, Princess Leia,Ahsoka Tano and others, ahead of books and a TV special later in the year. The stories will also be supported by a line of toys from Hasbro, including new ‘Adventure Figures’ – a fusion between traditional dolls and action figures, creating a whole new way to play Star Wars.

Yahoo has also revealed exclusively the rumored 6″ Black Series Landspeeder with Luke Skywalker with Floppy Hat and Rifle. Retail price is set at $59.99 and will be available this Fall.
Ahead of Star Wars Celebration, Hasbro has unveiled a new 6″ Black Series Rey with Jakku Speeder coming to the line this fall. Head over to io9 for the exclusive first look.
The official Star Wars Celebration site has posted their procedures for purchasing the exclusive 40th Anniversary Collection 6″ Luke Skywalker (X-wing Pilot) figure for Thursday and Friday.
In short, tickets will be given out starting at 6:00am to people in special early morning queues. Only those with tickets will be able to purchase the figure on those two days. Saturday and Sunday, Hasbro’s booth is open to shopping without a ticket.
If you have a Five Below store in your area, if may be worth your time to swing by and check out their toy section as many stores have been receiviving TFA figures that rarely made their way to big box retailers.
Personal Note: Even if you despise 5POA, some of these figures have good accessories and heads that work out great for customs.
