Gizmodo has posted a new article today detail Friday’s launch of Hasbro’s new Selfie Series of customized 6″ figures. The main takeaway from the article is that despite being initially promoted with a $60 MSRP per figure, the price has jumped significantly (33%) to $80, pushing many curious collectors from “maybe” into the “definitely not” category. No explanation has been given as to the increase but maybe that willl be covered at this weekend’s Hasbro Pulse Con.
You may recall last year we had a look at what was set to be a continuation of the 2020 Holiday Edition Black Series figures, but distribution/production being what it was in 2021, only a handful of unofficiallly announced figures made their way to collectors.
Hasbro today officially annnounced 6 Holiday Edition figures (one of them being new) for 2022. Each has an MSRP of $27.99 and with be available for preorder through various retailers. Retail partners and preorder dates listed below:

Recent shipping data shows several Vintage Collection items arriving in the U.S. including: ARC Trooper Jesse, Mandalorian Super Commando (Captain), Mandalorian Death Watch Airborne Trooper, Figrin D’an, 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper, Din Djarin (Morak), Clone Trooper 4pk*, R2-D2 (Sensorscope)**, Deluxe Imperial Stormtrooper (Nevarro Cantina)**.

Recent shipping data shows the arrival of a mystery FIFTH convention exclusive to be offered through Hasbro Pulse (for Pulse Con?). No official word yet of course but it does come 12 to a case. Hopefully more details soon.
Hasbro Pulse has started sending notifications to those who preordered the TVC Stormtrooper Commander (Gaming Greats), TVC Heavy Assault Stormtrooper (Gaming Greats), TVC Imperial Death Trooper 4pk and the Deluxe Black Series Nalan Cheel that product has arrived earlier than expected and order will start processing and shipping soon.

Hasbro made good on completing the first 12 figures from Star Wars by offering this new 6pk of figures for the Retro Collection. It contains Obi-Wan Kenobi, Tusken Raider, Death Squad Commander, Jawa, C-3PO and R2-D2 — both with vac-metal finish!!!
Preorders for this set launch at a later date exclusively at Hasbro Pulse and ShopDisney for around $90.

Leaked a few months ago, Hasbro today officially revealed the Selfie Series – a way for collectors to get their own likeness on select Star Wars, Marvel, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers and Ghostbuster figures.
