Based on some checking I’ve done at Target, it appears that my local store is receiving the exclusive Retro Collection The Phantom Menace 6pk the week of March 19. That is not necessarily the street date or expected release date so your store availability may vary. This news follows up our report that these sets have started to arrive in the U.S. based on recent shipping info.

Today, Hasbro has revealed the newest vehicle for the Vintage Collection E-wing with KE4-N4 from Ahsoka. Available for preorder ($99.99) today at Hasbro Pulse at 1pm ET through March 5. It will be availalble later through ShopDisney and Disney Parks.

That is the tag line of another franchise, but it’s sadly applicable to today’s mediocre fanstream of retools, repacks, refreshes, or what ever other corpo jargon you’d like to employ here. There were a couple bright spots but with ten preorder annoucements, including only one all new item, this was a weak first fanstream for 2024

Recent shipping data shows that the fan channel wave of Vintage Collection figures including Count Dooku, Finn, Cassian Andor and Phase I Clone Trooper is now arriving in the U.S.
Steve Evans (MrStevie18) has rejoined the Hasbro Star Wars brand team for 2024 and one of his first public contributions is the creation of this great 11″x17″ Retro Collection poster/checklist reminiscent of the original Kenner card backs. It is available for high-res download at his site.
My poking about the interweb continues with the possibility of as many as 6 TVC figure preorders for January 24th’s figure drop. As always, info isn’t official until Hasbro says so and the number of TVC preorder numbers may change before then.
