Additional research has confirmed that the next wave of 6″ Black Series (wave 27) is currently en route or has arrived at U.S. ports. The rumored breakdown of this wave can be viewed on our 2020 Master List page.
Armed with the UPC for the recently revealed/leaked “The Child” plush from The Mandalorian, I found the related DPCI and TCIN info for it via Target’s handy aisle price scanner. I was also able to learn that this has a date of March 1 listed in Target’s system. UPC, DPCI, TCIN and Walmart SKUs have all been added to our 2019/2020 Master List (listed in the Mattel section).
Collectors have been clamoring for more and more 6″ Black Series Prequel figures and Hasbro has satisfied those pleas most recently with the release of Mace Windu, Padme Amidala, Battle Droid and the pending mainline version of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Padawan). Even with those stellar figures in collectors’ hands, they want more. I’ve discovered new info that will add 3 more characters – one from each film in the Prequel Trilogy.

The digging continues today and has yielded info for what is described as a “SW RP Scream Saber“. This may be the super-secret lightsaber that was shown off at Star Wars Celebration Chicago last month. As a bit of a bonus, additional sleuthing turned up an IMDb profile for an actress (Aymee Michel) who posed as a packaging model for a product called the “Hasbro Scream Saber”.
Relevant UPC info has been added to the role play section of the Master List.
I’ve updated our UPC/DPCI/SKU Master List to include the case breakdown for the next wave (Wave 6) of Vintage Collection figures that includes Lando (Solo), Chewbacca (ANH), Stormtrooper (Rogue One), Captain Phasma (TFA) and Elite Praetorian Guard (TLJ). I’ve also completed the Walmart SKU info for TVC Wave 7 which include Luke Skywalker (Crait), Death Star Gunner (Rogue One), Assault Tank Commander (Rogue One) and R2-D2 (ANH). After an extensive search online, we’ve located and added the UPCs and Walmart SKUs for the second wave of 6″ Black Series Archive (BSA) figures to our 2019 Master List of products. As you recall, Hasbro officially announced back in October at NYCC 2018 that wave 2 would consist of Anakin Skywalker, Yoda and the Biker Scout/Scout Trooper. Darth Maul* on the other hand has been on our rumor lists for a while and based on the UPC info found above, we now have Maul’s accurate (yet unofficial) confirmation. Case breakdown isn’t known at this time but we can guess that it will be similar to Wave 1 with a 2x pack out.

For those that keep track of these things whether for cataloguing or product tracking, we’ve added the UPCs for the upcoming 6″ Black Series Archive figures to our Master List of products. As you recall, Hasbro officially announced at SDCC 2018 that the Archive assortment would take popular/in demand Black Series figures and reissues them with slight updates like Photo Real technology (where applicable). These figures will be blister carded.
The hunt continues for new and as-of-yet unannounced merchandise. Further digging has revealed two new mystery Hasbro action figures at the $49.99 price point. “Star Wars Rey Action Figure” and “Star Wars Darth Vader Action Figure”. These are not the $49.99 Black Series Centerpiece figures judging by their respective UPCs. We’ve added the pertinent info to our UPC/DPCI/SKU Master List Page at the bottom of the Black Series section. (Their placement there doesn’t confirm or imply that these are Black Series related products.)
As always, rumors of unannounced products may change or be cancelled altogether at anytime.
UPDATE: According to Amazon, the packaging 2.6″x9″x11″ – interestingly, that is (nearly) the same dimensions as the Captain America/Crossbones 2 pk of Marvel Legends 6″ figures. Time will tell I guess.

It’s has been a while since discussed Hasbro’s Vintage Collection Imperial Combat Assault Tank. Today I managed to track down a few of the numbers needed to complete its entry in our Master List. Look for it in stores and online in early August.*
