DamingToys – retailer out of Taiwan has posted the first look at the 6” Black Series Yoda (Force Spirit) which confirms our exclusive report from May.
As always, if Hasbro asks us to remove the image we will but again, this was posted publicly for sale by an online retailer.
UPDATE: DamingToys has removed the product stating they were given the wrong solicitation date and it should be available again on Nov. 1. We have removed the image as well in respect to DamingToys. Watch for an early look at this product soon 🙂
UPDATE 2: I did manage to find shipping manifest info for the 6″ Yoda (Force Spirit) figure and its currently on the way to the Port of Long Beach in California.
More products ranging from action figures to roleplay items are currently headed to the US via China and Vietnam. An update to shipping info shows that Hasbro’s E9 Vintage Collection cases, TVC Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) cases, Mega Mighties, E9 Micro Force, Scream Sabers, E9 Poe Dameron blasters and Sith Trooper blasters are all en route to various ports in the US.
Research via oversea shipping manifests has once again confirmed the rumored and yet unannounced TVC Luke Skywalker’s Red 5 X-wing Fighter and it currently en route to the U.S. as of Aug 13. As a reminder, MSRP is set at $100.
Late night searching once again yielded new info, this time for the Vintage Collection. 4 New 2019/2020 UPC/SKU sets* have been found for 3 new figures for The Mandalorian and one from AOTC (or possibly The Clone Wars depending on how it’s branded). Based on a a few sources there are still a couple figures yet round out this potential wave, so more info to come as I find it. All codes have been added to our UPC/SKU Master List.
*And yes, these are all active product pages on Walmart’s site, which it case with 90% of the report we run like this.
A little more hunting this morning has resulted in finding that the yet to be announced* TVC Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) figure is currently en route (as of Aug. 6 ) to the U.S. from China.
While Hasbro’s official SDCC panel starts at 2pm on Friday, July 19. Be sure to be around the day before on Thursday, July 18 as word is that a new product (or products) will be announced/confirmed. No word yet if it’s from the Vintage Collection or Black Series or from what media source (movie, TV, comics) it/they may be based.
News has been kind of light regarding products tying to The Mandalorian which set to debut in November of this year. But I’ve come across a bit of info that shows that a vehicle from the series will be offered in the Vintage Collection. I’m not sure if it will be out this year, but if what I’m hearing is accurate, it will be worth the wait.
UPDATE: Pricing I have found for “Huckleberry Hoodboat” puts this item (currently) in the $100+ range for the US.
It looks like that we may be receiving one of the main protagonists from the upcoming Jedi: Fallen Order game very soon by way of the 6″ Black Series line. The Second Sister Inquisitor has been on collectors’ want lists since being revealed at Star Wars Celebration and rumor has it, she’ll be available in time for the game’s launch in November. Could this be the “FO Trilla” character we’ve had on our rumored TBS list since early May? With SDCC just around the corner, we hope that we will get some confirmation on this then, if not before.
I managed to find info for two more 6″ Black Series figures for The Rise of Skywalker and today I added info for “Berlin Leader” and “Cairo Grater” to our expanding Master List of UPCs and SKUs for 2019 and beyond. Feel free to speculate as to the identity of these two mystery characters.
Looks like the wait for Crait Luke is finally over – at least until next year – as last night I found info for the unannounced, but eagerly anticipated, Luke Skywalker (Crait) for the 6″ Black Series line. He appears to be part of the same wave along with Jar Jar Binks, Count Dooku, and Commander Bly which we exclusively revealed last week, but that may change since we’re so far out from release.
