Hasbro and ROTJ40: A Day Long Forgotten???
Today’s marks the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi and what better time to drop new Vintage Collection and Black Series items that were previewed months ago? Hasbro, at the time, claimed there would be no preorders for these items, but for weeks, I’ve tracked the arrival of the figures shown above to distribution centers in the U.S.. One would hope that Hasbro/Lucasfilm could generate some synergy for today’s ROTJ milestone and offer a “See Now, Buy Now” type event with online retailers. The day is still young, but sadly I don’t hold much hope that this will actually happen.
Note: this pertains to the U.S. only as some other countries have allowed orders on some/all of these.

Target has started to issue approval requests for the exclusive Deluxe Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker & Grogu Set as it has pushed back from July 23 to October 1.
TVC Rumor Report: 2023 Convention Exclusive
A new Vintage Collection item has started to arrive in the U.S. in time for summer convention season. The code “Tiny” is assigned to it and it ships 8 per case. We will surely update if we receive or find any more details.

ShopDisney is offering at 20% discount on a few of the Vintage Collection 4 pks (now $33.59 each NOW $29.98 each) including the Hoth Troopers, Death Trooper and Phase I Clone Trooper sets. Sale ends Sunday.
