On November 2/3, Rhode Island Comic Con will be held, and in attendance for the first time as a vendor will be Hole in the Ground Productions. If you’re in that area and make the show, be sure to swing by their booth as they will have a full stock of their custom movie props and custom diorama items available.

A new Yakfinities Customizing Challenge has just kicked off, and the theme is Order 66 Survivors. So get those creative juices flowing for what is sure to be another fun customizing event in our forums. Several entries have already been submitted too, which can be seen here.

Star Wars merchants get one last hurrah in Yakfinities #53 with the Roundup Report! We had dozens of awesome entries and even a few dioramas made for this customizing challenge – which you can check out here. Yakface forum member Trooper31 was able to score the new Rebels Series Stormtrooper, which looks to have a pretty nice paint job, but appears to be suffering from inconsistent plastic coloring.

Diorama construction and new figure customizations are well underway for the next installment in The Enloe Trials Photonovel Series. For a closer look head on over to the forums.
It’s been a while since the last chapter was released in The Enloe Trials photonovel series, but that’s the way it goes when trying to make new customs and dioramas for each chapter (and trying to shuffle priorities of work and being a parent). So what’s a guy to do when he doesn’t have time to make all the sets on his own? Create a few concepts, and find someone who is able to build some of the sets for you!
So, thanks to the efforts of Yakface forum member EMPIRE, another installment in the series will be happening faster than I anticipated. You’ve probably by now seen some of his amazing work here in our forums. I’m sure he’ll be posting more updates of his fantastic custom playsets before too long, but for the time being head on over and take a quick look at what he’s working on for me behind the scenes by clicking here.
With the new Toys”R”us reset, obviously most of us are hoping this means better things for the collector lineup’s distribution. Today I came across some Wave 4 figures for the first time at a Toys”R”us; which was a sight for sore eyes.
Now is the time to start getting back to the hunt, but as always these days, your chances of success on toy runs are not what they used to be… but perhaps things may be back on the upswing?
