Star Wars Figure Display and Diorama Project

dioramas

For well over a decade, Star Wars collectors and kids alike have wanted Hasbro to make some sort of action figure display units (or even playsets) in the 3.75″ scale, but our pleas always fall on deaf ears.

But now the market might finally have a chance in the future to be able to spend our dollars on such items (and no, it ain’t through Hasbro).  Head on over to the forums for more details.

More Hasbro Product Landing at TJ Maxx

tjmaxx

While on a toy run today, I swung by TJ Maxx… and stumbled onto a ton (and I mean a ton) of 2012-2013 Star Wars Hasbro product.  Deluxe size vehicles, Angry Birds, Fighter Pods, Role Playing blasters, etc… and these are all items that Hasbro really thought would appeal to kids this past year.

In my humble opinion, this is just another sign that Hasbro has lost touch with their consumer base.  I am hoping for a really strong showing at SDCC from the folks at Hasbro, because Hasbro, retailers and the fan base does not need another 2012 (or another first half of 2013).

Customizer Mega Spotlight

This afternoon we highlight some more of the custom figures submitted by readers in our forums.

First up, forum member babylon shares some great Cantina alien customs that we’re still waiting on Hasbro to make.  Check them out here!

The always awesome jedistyle has also updated his customizing thread, this time with some new Mandalorians.

Evilivo emerges onto the scene as well, with some absolutely stunning custom figures like the above pictured C-3PO.

Bringing up the rear are some new customs that will appear in The Enloe Trials photonovel series as well.

Five Below Strikes Back!

5below2

Just as we’re getting geared up for The Black Series figures to start hitting, Five Below now comes through like they did so many times in 2012… this time, with the Darth Malgus wave!

There’s some great figures in this wave, but as we all know, also a ton of TPM figures that Hasbro unfortunately decided they needed to pack into the first three assortments of TVC last year, which crushed distribution for anything past the first few assortments of TVC in 2012.

Anyways – be on the lookout for these if you have a Five Below store in your area and hopefully this means that more waves past this one are on the way!

More Wishful Thinking… :-)

gotalpage

We recently posted a wishlist for SDCC reveals in our forums, and now forum member localgotal has added some outstanding mock-ups for some Cinema Scenes that would sell like hotcakes if Hasbro would just make them like the pics he has shown.   Check them out after the jump (but remember, none of this has actually been announced by Hasbro – but it should be!).

The Shroud of Darkness

Forum member CloneCrazy has added another installment to his eye popping photonovel series, The Shroud of Darkness.

If you haven’t caught up to the first chapter yet, you can do so by clicking here.  After that, be sure to check out the second installment too, which features an outstanding battle scene as Anakin Skywalker must protect his new bride from terrorists hired by none other than the Viceroy of the Trade Federation!

I must say, all these great new photonovels in the forums recently is starting to make it feel like 2007 all over again!

The Adventures of Jarred Yunis

Forum member jedimasteradi recently took the photonovel section of the Yakface forums by storm when he launched the first chapter in his new photonovel series, The Adventures of Jarred Yunis.

He has already followed up with Chapter 2 and Chapter 3.  Each of these are a fun read and I think any Star Wars fan who enjoys customizing or the art of storytelling will enjoy them.  Head on over to the forums and enjoy this great new series after the jump!
