Customizer Mega Spotlight
Tonight we highlight some more of the great custom works of several of our forum members!
First up, Evilivo continues to inspire with a great repaint of the recent Mission Series Yoda. What he’s done here really brings this figure to life.
Next, my kind of scum shows off another batch of his custom figures, including one using several non-Star Wars parts to create a spectacular alien. I don’t know what the heck this thing is, but it’s awesome!
We’ve also got some really cool new droids that you’ll want to see by Jawaking, who has been on one heck of a role lately with his customs.
Last but not least, forum newcomer AjuntaPall has posted a ton of custom figures for your viewing pleasure – check out his latest updates here.

Celebration Anaheim: Vader Case Project
The Celebration Anaheim Collecting Track is proud to announce: The Vader Case Project
New this year to the Celebration Track is the Vader Case Project. At Celebration IV in 2007, the original Vader Project showcased artist’s talents by having them decorate and alter full sized Darth Vader helmet replicas. The results were stunning with artist’s rendering Vader into everything from a clown to the Statue of Liberty to Vader with a fruit hat. More can be seen about this project at thevaderproject.com.
In a similar style, the Celebration Track has invited over twenty-five Star Wars artists and collectors to decorate a vintage Darth Vader carrying case with their own take on the Dark Lord. The artists include collectors like Gus Lopez, prolific Star Wars artists like Chris Trevas, and even Nathan Hamill has joined in. The cases will be shown throughout Celebration in the Collector’s Track Social Room. So, stop by and see these wonderful pieces of unique artwork.
Click on though for more info on this project as well as stunning examples that will be on display at Celebration Anaheim.

When Toy Runs are Depressing… Customize!
Retail toy runs have been quite depressing for some time now for a lot of us, but with some spare parts, a touch of paint and a bit of effort, I always find that customizing can add a lot of magic back into the hobby.
Head on over to the forums for a closer look at a handful of oddball droids I just put together, and if you are interested in starting customizing or have work of your own to share, be sure to start a thread of your own in our customizing section.
