If the recent STAP and IG-88 announcements weren’t enough, Sideshow as also pulled the wraps off of a 12″ Boba Fett from TESB in their latest SDCC preview video, a life size version of Han in Carbonite and they’ve announced a partnership with Hot Toys to produce and distribute 1/6th scale Star Wars figures as well.
Sideshow updates this morning and is now accepting pre-orders for the ultra-cool IG-88 12″ figure. As a bonus, the exclusive version include a vibro-ax accessory!
Sideshow Collectibles has updated today with a SDCC Showcase video highlighting their recent 12″ announcements of Commander Gree and the Battle Droid. Toys”R”Us has updated their site recently placing their new exclusive Clone Wars Stealth Operations Clone Trooper (aka Commander Blackout*) up for pre-order. You can get yours (limit 2) at the link or wait until it hits retail as he’ll surely be “FREE” with a qualifying purchase like their previous exclusives.

Our friends at JediDefender are reporting that the Toys”R”Us Exclusive Vintage Y-Wing Fighter has hit retail in the US in Nebraska priced at an attractive $39.99. Head on over for JD member Brian’s report!

Just a friendly reminder to mark your calendars for next weekend (July 16-17) for Hallmark’s Keepsake Ornament Premiere where you’ll be able to picked Jedi Master Yoda, Showdown at the Cantina and Slave I. All three are battery operated and feature “Magic” sound effects.

Slowly but surely, we are getting the older sections of the Toyguide back online after being disabled since the server switchover. Now for your review, I’ve activated the basic figures 2008-2009 (blue) and 2009-2010 (red) Legacy Collection sections. There may be a couple wonky links here and there but those will be worked out soon.
