Logic would dictate that they will be available for preorder at Target in the U.S. on that day as well. No official word yet.
A lot of questions have been posed regarding the status of the 1:12 Scale Tantive IV Blockade Runner Display Set. Recently GTP sent out an email notifying current and potential customers about a shake up in their business as well as production delays due to COVID restrictions for their first officially licensed product. They look to be able to full preorders by July/August 2021 and no more will be made after that due to low sales volumes. If you’re looking to get this for your collection it may be best not to wait.
The newest Jumbo Star Wars action figure goes back, way back, to the beginnings of Star Wars! Based on the concept art for Darth Vader, this new 12-inch figure features an all-new concept-inspired head sculpt, a new blue-and-black paint scheme, a vinyl cape and a retractable lightsaber! It comes packaged on a resealable, retro-style blister card, so you can hang him on your wall or take him out and play with him.
An interesting image has been posted on Reddit potentially revealing a new Black Series Crosshair figure as well as a speculated plot point to the new series The Bad Batch within the figure’s bio. The Retro Collection figures for The Mandalorian have started hitting shelves at Target but be warned that they are register locked at the checkouts until May 1.
StarWars.com has officially announced 4 new Black Series figures to commemmorate the 50th Anniversary of Lucasfilm and The Clone Wars. The figures include Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, ARC Trooper Echo and Clone Pilot Hawk. These figures also correlate to our reports of 4 exclusive TBS figures coming to Target.
Recent shipping data shows that the recently announced TVC Gaming Greats figures for the Scout Trooper (“Magnolia/Rollerball”), Shadow Stormtrooper (‘Mayflower/Marker”) and Heavy Battle Droid (“Marigold/Fountain”) have already entered the U.S. from Canada – well ahead of their August/September release date. It is unknown if they’ll be held back until then or ship to customers early.
As a follow up to our report from last month, the three new shape codes “Triangle”, “Square” and “Rectangle” we received now show up on the Walmart app and after some additional research we have determined that these are indeed exclusive to Walmart. They are priced similarily ($12.99) to the exclusive Endor Leia, Paploo and AT-ST Driver TVC figures and ship in their own case packs of 6. ETA is still unknown as is their secondary code name and identity. More as we learn more.
The GameStop exclusive 6″ Black Series Imperial Rocket Trooper (Gaming Greats) figure from Battlefront II has arrived at GameStop’s distribution center in Texas. Expected ship date is May 1 for those who preordered.
