Toyguide Update: CW16 Super Battle Droid (Training Droid)

The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the next addition for the 2012 “Darth Maul” product line. We continue with the  Training Super Battle Droid (CW16) from The Clone Wars line.

PROS: A solid figure in the fact that it has a good sculpt and the episode specific deco looks great. It has all the necessary articulation – save for the legs of course. I hope will see a reissue of this figure someday perhaps with the missing members of Domino Squad.

CONS: In an era of more action feature heavy figures, Hasbro confoundingly left out the second set of missile launchers that were present with prior releases of this figure.

Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.

You can also weigh in with your impressions on the figures we add to our toyguide on facebook and in our forums.
