After an anguishing drought, TRU has started to receive shipments of new figures… as always your mileage may vary, but in these troubled times it’s a breath of fresh air to walk into a store and know there’s a chance it could be stocked with new product!

Star Tours has posted on facebook an awesome shot of the some of the Droid Factory Astromechs available (starting this weekend) in Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you’ll see, there are some new dome sculpts in here namely the R6, R8 and R9 models.

PROS: A solid figure in the fact that it has a good sculpt and the episode specific deco looks great. It has all the necessary articulation – save for the legs of course. I hope will see a reissue of this figure someday perhaps with the missing members of Domino Squad.
CONS: In an era of more action feature heavy figures, Hasbro confoundingly left out the second set of missile launchers that were present with prior releases of this figure.
