Great 3.75″ Playset News!

The 20+ year drought for professionally made 3.75″ dioramas / playsets for our collections if finally coming to an end!  GTP-Toys has approved their first production run of 3.75″ diorama walls – if you placed an order, keep an eye on your inbox over the coming weeks.

Not only that, but they also passed details along to us about some cool new 6″ product walls that are also going to be available soon.  For all the new details we’ve received (including some cool production images), click here!

After that, head on over to their website to secure your order at Galactictradingpost.com!

Rogue One Pricing Fluctuations

You’re probably well aware that Hasbro’s last wave of Rogue One figures is available online through various e-tailers, but you may not have seen the price fluctuations on Admiral Raddus, Galen Erso and Lieutenant Sefla on Amazon.

Pricing has dropped down to $11-$12 at times, then back up to $18-$20 per figure.  If you’re in the market for these figures, it may be worth keeping an eye on these prices and grab whatever you are needing when the price feels reasonable to you… and remember, down the road, $20 or so could be considered very reasonable for these figures on the after-market, so don’t wait too long to secure your figures there or through one of our sponsors.

Stay on Target…

Target stores are running some good deals this week, including $9.89 price on TBS 6″ figures.  The kicker though is that the only figures that rang up for this price at my  local store were Jyn, Cassian and the Death Trooper.  The tags indicate it’s all figures, so if you try and purchase others, they will likely ring up for $19.99 and you will need to explain the situation to the cashier.

Jedha Revolt sets are also $19.99 – which is a steal.  And on top of that,  you can text STAR10 to save $10 off a $50  Star Wars purchase, and STAR25 to save $25 off a $100 Star Wars purchase (excluding LEGO of course).

The only tough news here is on the new display shippers, they have limited Baze and Chirrut to 1x each in the shipper… which is typical of Hasbro’s poor distribution model.  And the 3.75″ stuff… all stuff that was released last Fall… which is absolutely ridiculous.  Where’s Raddus??

Space Walls Update

The folks at Galactic Trading Post have updated with news for everyone salivating over getting their hands on their highly anticipated Classic 3.75″ walls:

The last samples we received, we found a problem with the LED panel.  It was shrinking in the mold and so the gap lines were not lining up with other walls.  This had further delayed the walls, but we felt it had to be fixed despite additional delays.  These samples we are receiving now with have this and clip tolerance changes.  We again apologize for the delays, we hope that with these final samples all the kinks will be worked out.  We will update you once we receive the samples and have a better timeline from the factory of when we will have these in.

Personal Note:  I’ve been waiting over 20 years now for something like this to be made, so a bit of a delay here isn’t going to be the end of the world.   It’s great that it really sounds like the 3.75″ scale product will be worth the wait; and those that have the 6″ scale wall sets can already attest to just how amazing these things are.   This is factory quality stuff and you can order on their website.

Customizer Spotlight: Peakob1

Customizer Peakob1 shows off his latest custom figures, as part of his vision of what a 40th Anniversary line should look like from Hasbro.   Head on over to the forums to check it all out!

Personal Note:  In my humble opinion, these kit bashed repaints honoring the original trilogy blow Hasbro’s 40th Anniversary line out of the water.  Imagine figures like these, on vintage-esque cards… ’nuff said.
