Hole in the Ground Productions has just over 3 weeks left on the crowdfunding project to help make some of their amazing 3.75″ diorama products for you even better. Head on over and add a pledge to the campaign by clicking here!
Personal Note: Anyone who has ordered from Hole in the Ground Pro in the past knows just how much Eric cares about the quality that goes into the product, and how fantastic these pieces are. If you are on the fence, just remember this next phase of product they are exploring will be even higher quality than their already outstanding line of diorama items!
If your toy runs have been coming up empty lately, it might be worth your time to swing by your local Gamestop to see if the situation there is any better. Nearly every time I stop by one lately, I find something I want to pick up, like the new Rebel Fleet Trooper.
Good luck out there and let us know about your recent acquisitions after the jump!
eBay seller tunghori has some Mission on Vandor single figures available if you are so inclined. Click here to check them out and to peruse through his various selection of items available.
Since we got Hasbro’s attention with the “Build the Barge” campaign, why don’t we let them know who we’d like to see fill that Sail Barge (along with Skiff Guards and Jabba’s Palace denizens)?
Rules are the same as the other Yak’s Top Tens:
Pick up to 10 figures you’d like to see done in 3.75” The Vintage Collection scale.
If submissions have more than ten entries, only the first ten will be considered!
Do not list multipacks as a single entry.
Only one vote per character.
All figures are eligible, whether it’s a new figure, a repaint, re-issue, deluxe, etc.
Feel free to add descriptions to any of your choices, such as pack-ins.
Voting will end on September 10 – you can do so by posting in the forums or in the comments section of this article.
Holeinthegroundpro will soon be launching an Indiegogo campaign to start offering even higher quality production quality diorama products for your 3.75″ collections.

This is not breaking news, but the new 6″ Enfys Nest w/ Swoop Bike has been showing up at various Target stores recently, including the St. Louis area over the past week. It might be worth an extra stop if you’re interested in picking up this set.
Forum moderator darthvlad is oveseas in Russia right now (Nakhoda, to be precise), and sent in a couple pics of the Star Wars section of a local retailer he visited. It’s worth the look to see what the selection is of Hasbro product that he has come across.
Personal Note: I will stop complaining about the lack of anything TVC related at U.S. Walmart stores for a while after seeing this sadness… but just for a while.
Walmart may be clueless how to distribute collector geared Star Wars action figures these days, but many stores have continued to stock the “kid aimed” Force Link waves with a hint of regularity (though in many areas, not at all!).
On any note, the latest wave is popping up at various Walmart stores (reports vary from $3.00, $5.00, to full MSRP), so be on the lookout if you’re looking to acquire them.
I haven’t seen these anywhere besides Gamestop, but for $4.99 these little Hot Wheels Concept Series vehicles scream old school Star Wars to me and are an automatic purchase.
For all I know, they’re hitting Walmart, Target, etc. – but I’ve seen no evidence of this in my neck of the woods but they really are fun oddball items.
Thoughts? Would anyone like the see an upsized 3.75″ scale TIE Fighter like this at some point from Hasbro? I think I would.
What would be even better than Hole in the Ground Pro’s custom resin diorama props? How about actual injection molded plastic accessories and playsets?
With the help of the collecting community, this can someday be a reality – keep an eye out on our main page for an upcoming crowdfunding campaign that you can contribute to, which can help make your custom dioramas dream a reality!
