While some do not like the lack of the “claw” and the “non-playset” design, I personally find the approach that Hasbro took by allowing for collectors to add lighting elements and modular stair designs based on their own approach as a huge plus. The aesthetics are nice, however, this thing is not meant for play (the steps will fall right off). But as a display item, it’s pretty nifty.
Hasbro’s TVC Freezing Chamber has been arriving on doorsteps via Gamestop the past few days. I snapped a few pics of a quick setup in the forums that you can see by clicking here.
Do you love this thing, or hate it? I’ve seen some passionate views noted on social media from both angles. Since I’ve been begging for collector oriented displays for over two decades now, I’m pretty excited to have this in my collection now. So, I’m biased for sure. Let us know what you think!
The HasLab Vintage Collection Razor Crest has reached is target goal of 6,000 units to enter product after one day! Now we enter the first stretch goal to 8000 backers.
Whew! That was a lot to take in for the first day, but I’d say overall that was one of the better Star Wars livestream events put on by the Hasbro team in some time. Even though there weren’t a lot of surprises, they did manage to show a decent amount of product for the brand that also covered many different parts of the Saga.
Well, that escalated quickly. After getting our first look at these figures yesterday, Collectors_place from Instagram posted finding Wave 27 at Target. When it rains it pours, hopefully Hasbro will announce these today at Hasbro Pulse Con.
One final update tonight is the reveal of the Imperial Stormtrooper (Holiday Edition) courtesy of StarWarsPoodoo. This festive trooper is wearing an ugly Christmas sweater featuring an AT-AT and include a porg and vibro-axe.
StarWarsPoodoo also provides us a first look at the standard released of Cad Bane from The Black Series Wave 27. This is the same figure from the upcoming exclusive set sans TODO-360.
For those unable to acquired the Heroes of Endor set via Hasbro Pulse, here is the next best option as 3 of the 4 figures will be released in the Black Series Wave 27 as rumor for many months. StarWarsPoodoo on Instagram provides us our first look and Endor Luke, Han and Leia.
StarWarsPoodoo has also confirmed for us our rumor report that the Phase I Clone Trooper from Attack of the Clones would be returning to the Black Series line as part of Wave 27.
Thanks to an image from Instagram follower @starwarspoodoo we have our first look at the upcoming 6″ Black Series Range Trooper (Holiday Edition) figure. There have been a few rumored TBS figures for the holidays but I don’t think many are prepared for this. Based on the social media responses I’ve received after posting this, they are overwhelmingly positive. I believe this is the Target Exclusive version priced at $24.99 and includes the Santa-esque Range Trooper, a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer inspired D-O and some icy weaponry.
It’s unknown if we will see this officially revealed tomorrow.
Today at Noon Eastern, Hasbro Pulse dropped their exclusive Hasbro Pulse Con merchandise and the results seem to be overall positive as to how they were handled in terms of limiting quantity and putting anti-bot measures in place for checkout. As of now, the TBS Heroes of Endor set is sold out for today while the TBS Wampa and TVC ARC Troopers set are still available. Will you be trying again tomorrow for items you may have missed today (including non-SW merch)?
