Collectors success at retail has started to improve as more folks are finding Black Series figures (in both scales) at their local stores. eBay caused a bit of a frenzy this week as a notorious seller posted the first auction for a collectible from The Force Awakens — a 6″ First Order Stormtrooper which closed at a ridiculous price. Is it legit??? Also this week, new store finds from LEGO, product news for Disney Infinity 3.0, custom 6″ figures and vehicles as well as a new character name revealed fro The Force Awakens! Hot Toys has released details for their upcoming 1:6 Scale Movie Masterpiece Series Luke Skywalker (A New Hope) figure*. Click on through for the features and images and watch for the preorder announcement soon from Sideshow Collectibles.
*Hot Toys gives the caveat that these are prototype images. There are a few items to address here, hopefully they include the proper lightsaber hilt as the one shown is from The Empire Strikes Back, not A New Hope.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Rebels Figures Coming Soon

A forum post over on DisneyInfinityFans.com has share links to a German retailer Media Markt that is currently listing 4 Star Wars Rebels figures as part of the Disney Infinity 3.0 game. Figures include Sabine, Ezra, Zeb and Kanan. No images are shown.

Sideshow ARC Trooper “Fives” Delayed
Sideshow Collectibles has started sending out notifications to those that preordered the ARC Trooper “Fives” sixth scale figure. They state that the production delays have pushed the release date time frame from June to July-August.
New StarWars.com Article Reveals New Character
StarWars.com has updated today with an expanded interview with Annie Leibovitz from the recent Vanity Fair feature. The new article reveals a new image of Andy Serkis in full mo-cap mode as well as the character he will be playing (name only). Star Wars Reads Day Returns This October
USA Today has announced today the return of Star Wars Reads Day – Oct. 10, 2015. This marks the fourth anniversary of the event and to commemorate it, Disney/Lucasfilm has created a new logo featuring BB-8 from The Force Awakens.
