A new clip from the the Star Wars: The Complete Saga blu-ray has been posted online, this time showcasing more scenes from The Phantom Menace with the replacement of the puppet Yoda with the CGI version.

Yakface Fans’ Choice Poll Ends This Sunday
Okay you’ve had a few days to ponder your wishlist for Hasbro’s Fans’ Choice Poll right? Well, throw it out the window! In an effort to stick with the theme of the 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi in 2013 we are limiting the selection to characters from that film only. That’s right, no EU or Clone Wars, we’re going old school and sending a straight up Original Trilogy/Vintage/ROTJ-themed list. These can be figures that Kenner/Hasbro has already done since 1995 but just need to be brought up to today’s standards of esthetics (ahem, Yak Face) or an all new ROTJ figure that hasn’t been done yet.
The process is easy, simply post your list in our forums. Each forum member may submit five (5) characters for their lists, the top 10 figures from the compiled lists will form our official Yakface.com/Hasbro Fans’ Choice Poll submission. The deadline for list submission will be Sunday, September 25 at 11:59pm PST.
Rules: Forum members need only apply. Only one list per forum member, (IP addresses will be reviewed to weed out ballot stuffers). In the effort of full public disclosure, all list submissions sent in via email, facebook, or other media avenues will not be counted.
Tensions are high in this TESB Deleted Scene
EW.com has posted an exclusive deleted scene from The Empire Strikes Back blu-ray release. As you’ll see, the spat between Han and Leia on Hoth originally played out much longer and featured completely different dialogue. In the end, I think Irvin Kershner made the right call on leaving this version on the cutting room floor. Star Wars: The Complete Saga hits store September 16.
Episode 311: Blink and You’ll Miss It
The internet has burned up this past week with Star Wars news and, to the surprise of no one, Lucas has made further changes to the Star Wars saga for their blu ray release. “Leave Star Wars alone” one faction typed loudly. “It’s Lucas’ property, he can change it however he wants” the other faction replied. On this week’s Star Wars Action News podcast, Marjorie and Arnie give their opinion on the changes, why minor changes mean so much to Star Wars fans, and why all the internet ink in the world protesting the changes doesn’t matter.
And Hasbro is once again doing a Fan’s Choice figure poll! The top Star Wars collecting sites are asked to gather fans’ Top 10 figures for a new vote, the results of which will be announced at Toy Fair in 2012, and the figure released in 2013! Listen to this week’s show for details.

NEW TPCs at Target
Target has started a new wave of TPCs (Temporary Price Cuts) starting this week (until 10/15) on Clone Wars Battle Packs and the Vintage 3 Packs. Both are marked down to $17.99 which breaks out to roughly $6 per figure.

One of the most anticipated figures of the year is now available loose via overseas eBay seller tunghori. These probably won’t last long, and with distribution problems continuing to affect the TVC line (combined with this figure being slated at just one figure per case), why not click on the image above and order one?
