Hasbro will soon be officially announcing a new segment of Black Series figures called “HyperReal” – rumor has it that these figures are even more articulated than the current Black Series line and they are a larger scale. For further evidence supporting the rumor of this line, we’ve had in our in our Master List of UPCs/SKUs a item called Darth Vader (E4) Action Figure with a $49.99$79.99 price point. Today, Brickseek updated that listing to include the Hyperreal reference and you can see it on Walmart.com shown as “SW E4 BL HYPERREAL DARTH VADER”. The dimensions of the packaging also allude to a larger scale than the current 6″ Black Series line.
More as it develops and watch for an official announcement at Toy Fair.

Let’s start the new year off with what I think is the UPC/DPCI/TCIN info for the upcoming Target Exclusive 6″ Black Series Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise/Trash Compactor) figure. This info is not 100% confirmed at this point but some searching and cross referencing has pointed me to this conclusion. If anything further develops, we’ll post a confirmation.
Tamashii Nations has updated the SHFiguarts pages for their Star Wars products to include new details and images for their Princess Leia Organa (A New Hope ) figure. Click on through for the image gallery and watch for its availability in December.
Hopefully you saw our rumor report of upcoming Vintage Collection figures we posted last week prior to SDCC. Only a few were revealed but as promised, here are the UPCs and Walmart SKUs for those figures. This should fill in some (not all) of those open slots shown on Hasbro’s slide for 2019. You’ll notice a couple absences from our initial report (Luke Skywalker, Darth Revan and Death Star Gunner) – I’ll provide those respective codes once I do a bit of double checking and cross referencing to insure their accuracy. These have been added to our Master List as well.
Following up on our 6″ Black Series 2019 report from yesterday, it’s time to check out what we can expect for some of the 3.75″ Vintage Collection figures for next year. Surprisingly there are not a lot on this following list that support Jabba’s Sail Barge. Not surprisingly there may be a fair amount of repacks again from Walmart’s exclusive releases and potentially older TVC figures. Click on through to check out what we’ve uncovered.

Sideshow Collectibles is now taking preorders for the Princess Leia Premium Format figure. It is available in standard and exclusive editions, the latter includes a swap out arm with Death Star plan.
The Battlefront II tie-in novel Inferno Squad is now available in stores and online. It picked up right after the events of Rogue One and A New Hope so sure to check out StarWars.com for the seven reason why it is “the perfect prequel” to the game coming this November.
