The other day I managed to purchase a few new items at Target (they were not register blocked nor did I resort to any trickery or sweet talking) one of which was the new 5” Galaxy of Adventures Darth Vader. Above is a quick size comparison showing how this new line measures up with others. For $10 and with as much articulation as a TVC or TBS figure, this line is pretty nice.

The video also confirms that the limted edition First Edition Black Series figures are brick and mortar only, so if collectors are looking for those, best hit your stores early. Entertainment Earth will have the First Edition version available for sale at their booth at NYCC.
Our very own staffer, Justin, reports finding the upcoming Electronic Scream Saber Lightsaber at Target which confirms our initial product report in May. This Galaxy of Adventures role play lightsaber lets kids (and adults) record their own sound effects to play back as well has features 10 authentic saber sounds. Price is set at $29.99. Big Jim reports finding the new 5” Galaxy of Adventures First Order Driver with Treadspeeder and his local Meijer. This is one of a few new scale vehicles set for launch on Triple Force Friday.
Twitter follower Kevin B. sends us the above image revealing the first look at the upcoming 5” Galaxy of Adventures Droid Pack from The Rise of Skywalker. This was found on-shelf at Target in Dallas, TX.
As a follow up to our report from last week, Target has updated more Hasbro product DPCIs to “discontinued” status. Items include Star Wars Resistance (basic figures and two packs), 6″ Black Series Chewbacca (Vandor-1), Solo: A Star Wars Story 6 pack of troopers, and the Galaxy of Adventures (GOA) tube figures.

After a long weekend of ignoring my family* to bring you the latest rumors, we kick things off this week with info for more Hasbro product coming later this year. Remember all info is subject to change and cancellation by the manufacturer (Hasbro) and no assurances can be made as to when and where these will be available, if at all.
As a follow up to our exclusive reporting in January, I managed to find several listings for our rumored list upcoming E9 Galaxy of Adventures products including basic figures, vehicle and the Droid 3pk. On the heels of the new wave of repacked Galaxy of Adventures figure, we can confirm our Master List entries (via new listings on Amazon – here, here and here) of a trio of Original Trilogy themed multipacks of figures for the line. Priced at $19.99, these are said to be online exclusives but look for confirmation of that (possibly) at Toy Fair next weekend.
