Hasbro is planning to cross off a few more names on the list of 96 figures originally released in the 1978-1985 line for the Vintage Collection. Watch for official information soon.
We’ve received word of possible figures coming for the second Specialty/Reissue wave for 2022. The wave is said to consist of VC01 Dengar, VC106 Nien Nunb, VC55 Logray and VC111 Leia (Bespin Gown). Look for this specialty/reissue wave later this year.
The final two tiers for the Haslab Rancor have been revealed. ROTJ Carded Salacious Crumb (16,000 backers) and Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight (19,000 backers).
Hasbro prefaces their own upcoming Fan First Friday livestream with in-hand images (courtesy of C|Net) of the physical prototype of the Haslab Black Series Rancor giving (potential) backers a better sense of scale for the beast. Hasbro has revealed the second tier/stretch goal for the Haslab Black Series Rancor. Tier 2 includes a set of bones and a cardboard backdrop for ” world-building” and unlocks at 13,500 units backed.
Hasbro revealed the first tier in their Haslab Black Series Rancor campaign and it made many squeal – and not in the good way. Hasbro choose to lead off their first tier with a repack of the Target Exclusive 6″ Gamorrean Guard but on a POTF cardback with coin. This figure is unlocked at 11,000 units sold.
As if last weekend’s reveals, yesterday’s reveals and today’s preorders weren’t enough, Hasbro gave Pulse Premium Members an inside look at Hasbro HQ and debuted our first looks at 4 new Black Series figures: the Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper, Omega, Echo and Bib Fortuna. No preorders were made available (nor date given) for these, despite other brands getting new items, and there was nothing for the Vintage Collection shown off.
