Tonight we bring back a much overdue feature – the Customizer Mega Spotlight!

First up, all-star customizer Evilivo shows off some new OT goodness, including a fantastic take on Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper disguise.

Next, Eyositer gets in on the fun with several great new customs, including an Underworld Gangster.

Customizing legend Fritzkrieg also gets back into the mix with a really cool Mandalorian.

Last but not least, we are treated to a ton of ANH era customs from Stancheck those out here!

Q&A with Hasbro

shipyards

Our good friends at Imperialshipyards were able to get some Q&A time with the Hasbro team at New York Comic Con over the weekend.

They are doing the fan community a great service once again as they did their best to get questions that matter to the 3.75″ fans posed to the Hasbro team, with friendly suggestions to make the 3.75″ action figure brand a more appealing product again.

GTP Toys Update

082916walls3

After being completely amazed by the quality of their diorama Space Walls, I was fortunate enough to be able to see first hand how great a few of the other diorama pieces are shaping up through GTP Toys.

The boxes and barrel I received are rubber prototypes – the final product will be plastic and in line with the quality of the walls.  I snapped a few pics, which can be seen here.

Everyone – I completely am sincere when I say these are some of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in the hobby.  I’ve been an avid adult collecting enthusiast for over two decades now, and have always felt there was a gaping hole in my collection – environments to display my figures.  Having these items in person, and setting them up is on par with the excitement of putting together the stellar BMF (Falcon) from several years ago because the quality is just that great.   This is professional quality – not 3D printed with print lines.  It’s top line product for an affordable price.

The only way the guys at GTP Toys are going to be able to continue to make products like this (including 3.75″ scale) is from support from the collecting community.   So if you’re looking for a better way to display your collectibles, check them out!
