We’ve received a description of what the mystery figure is in the upcoming case of Black Series figures containing Bo-Katan, Assaj Ventress, Hunter and Crosshair. If you’d like to wait for tomorrow’s reveal then don’t click through.

We’ve updated our running list of upcoming and rumored products slated to hit stores and online throughout 2021. We’ve purged many of the released 2020 items from the list but they can still be found here for your reference. (This old list will not be maintained).

I recently received a wonderful care package from GonkToys showcasing their assortment of high-quality acrylic products for displaying Hasbro/Kenner Star Wars collectibles. Today, I going to give my impressions on their acrylic display case for 6×9 carded figures.
Continue reading Review: GonkToys Acrylic Action Figure Display CasesOver the weekend, I joined Tim from Bossk’s Bounty and Tyler from SWTVC to discuss the Vintage Collection – where it is and where we think it’s going. Give it a watch and follow both Bossk’s Bounty and SWTVC via their social channels for passion Star Wars content focusing on the 3.75″/Vintage Collection scale.
Bothan spies also send word that Amazon will be offering exclusive Kenner deco variants (Like the SDCC Boba Fett, Zuckuss and 4-LOM) of the 6″ Black Series Greedo, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi and Jawa as part of the 50th Anniverary of Lucasfilm program.
The code names for Ben and Jawa correlate to the recent list we published and are “Kung Fu” and “Judo” respectively.

I received word this morning that for the 50th Anniversary of Lucasfilm, Hasbro plans to re-issue 3 Black Series figures on Episode I style cardbacks like they did for the exclusive Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Figures include Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu and Jar Jar Binks. There is already an overseas online retailer listing these for preorder but I imagine they’ll be pulled down very soon if not already.
These 3 figures correlate to the new list of Black Series code names that I found the other day and are as follows:
“Winter” – Qui-Gon Jinn
“Autumn” – Mace Windu
“Summer” – Jar Jar Binks
Availability is expected to be around March/April. It is unknown who will be offering that at the time of this post but we’ll provide and update when necessary.
As a follow up to a previous report, JediInsider has come back with addtional rumors for more fan channel exclusive Legends/Comics Black Series figures including Carnor Jax and Darth Maul. From additional intel I’ve been hearing, Maul will be of the shirtless/tattooed variety and there is a fourth figure said to be Luke Skywalker from the Thrawn era of Legends comics
In the wee hours of the early morning, I managed to find 5 new Black Series listings that are currently en route from China. They are of course coded to protect their identities from being revealed but they should start popping into the retailer databases soon. Note that 6 per case breakdown for the “seasonal” figures and 8 per case breakdown for “martial arts” figures. The above SKUs are different from the “Sun”, “Wind”, “Rain” and “Snow” which we reported last month, so they are not duplicates of those.
The products have been added to our 2020/2021 Master List.
UPDATE: I have learned the identities of the 5 above figures plus a sixth. None of the figures are new but do feature deco enhancements or are repaints. They are NOT Carbonized, Credit Collection, Gaming Greats or Deluxe figures.
