PARCO Carded Kubrick R5-D4
This weekend kicks off the Medicom/PARCO Show Exhibition and already the first Star Wars Kubrick item has been revealed via eBay – a carded version of R5-D4.
This is in essence a repack of the DX Series 3 figure. Hopefully we will get to see some actual new Kubricks over the next day or so… the drought has been long.
Thanks to our friends at JediDefender for the heads-up.
Jaw Dropping Custom Sail Barge
There’s been some amazing custom Sail Barges made over the years, and this auction listing is one of the best ones I’ve seen. Check it out and enjoy all the pics of this spectacular vehicle/playset from ROTJ that Hasbro will hopefully turn their attention to.
Target Clearancing Hasbro Product Galore
We posted a lengthy rant last month expressing our recent frustration with Hasbro, and it seems like the folks at Target may feel the same way given their latest round of Hasbro markdowns.
It isn’t just Star Wars product either… it’s GI JOE and Transformers product too… and the trend here is that all the items are ones aimed at kids, and really aren’t of high quality… they are often gimmicks or Hasbro scaling back on quality. So what does that mean with the upcoming Movie Heroes line? Will they pegwarm like these have been doing since the moment they were first stocked?
Hopefully Hasbro has a much better plan in store for next year… share your thoughts here or in our forums.

Welcome news for those that can’t attend the SDCC and reassurance that they will continue to have great new collectibles available for 2013.
Star Wars: Hunt for the Holocron
Our very own DanoftheDead has been working behind the scenes with a group of close friends for many years to complete a fan made film, called Star Wars: Hunt for the Holocron.
It appears all the hard work and dedication has paid off as their team is inching closer to releasing their film. Check out their official site and while you’re at it, leave some feedback for Dan and his friends in our forums!

Thanks to our friends at Imperial Holocron for assistance in uncovering this mystery item.
Episode 396: Orange, Black, and Silver
The 3.75-inch Black Series is looming and new packaged shots are being released of the first wave of figures with Padme, Biggs, Luke, Vader, and more. But despite the eagerness of Star Wars collectors for new figures, fans are having a mixed reaction to the new packaging for these figures. Also on this week’s show, Johnathan updates us what’s in stores and online, Steve the Gingerprince reports from Collectormania, and Arnie and Marjorie celebrate a new Ewok LEGO set. All that and more on this week’s Star Wars Action News podcast!
