Steve Evans (MrStevie18) has rejoined the Hasbro Star Wars brand team for 2024 and one of his first public contributions is the creation of this great 11″x17″ Retro Collection poster/checklist reminiscent of the original Kenner card backs. It is available for high-res download at his site.
Begun the Price Wars Has…

Some collectors have started to receive email notifications from Target requesting payment source updates for their Black Series Clone 2pk preorders. When you select a new, or even current payment source, you are met with an approval to charge the new, corrected price ($44.99 each) – not the original price ($24.99 each). I was also going to be charged shipping despite being over the $35 threshold. I suggest if you received the email, contact Target customer service directly to try to get your order sorted out. Act quickly as the order will auto-cancel if not addressed by the date in your email.
Let us know if you have success in having Target honor your original preorder price.
TBS Rumor Report: The Return of Count Dooku?
While hunting around for more 2024 information today I came across a curious listing that seemed to specify that Count Dooku may be making a return to the Black Series line as a possible fan channel exclusive. Dooku was a stellar figure when it was first released, featuring a near perfect likeness to the late Sir Christopher Lee. If accurate, could we see more prequel figures from the past reissued in the mural packaging? Would you like to see such a thing even happen?
Target Updates Error Pricepoint for TBS Clone 2pk
It was only a matter of time but Target finally updated the error price ($24.99) of the exclusive Black Series Lieutenant/332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper 2pk to the proper pricepoint ($44.99). Existing preorders should retain their lower price.

EHS Rumor Report: New 4″ Speeder Bikes Coming Soon
Joining the line of 4” Epic Hero Series figures will be an assortment of individual speeder bikes compatible with Star Wars and other Epic Hero Series figures. It is unknown if the speeder bikes include a new figure, a repacked figure or just the speeder themselves. This assortment is separate from the unknown vehicle with figure coming later this year. As always, nothing official until Hasbro says so and info/product is subject to change/cancellation.
Balancing the Scales: TVC vs TBS Code Name Comparison for 2024
Without fail, when I post a rumor report regarding one scale or the other, the comments (on social media) turn into an “us versus them” situation in terms of what scale is more heavily favored by Hasbro. Interestingly, I took a look at my rumor list of TVC and TBS code names for 2024 products and you’d probably be (pleasantly?) surprised to hear that I’ve been able to find approximately 30 code names for EACH line. Granted, that’s only what I’ve personally been able to find info for, but as it stands, that’s pretty f’ing balanced.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled slap fight.

Retro Rumor Report: New Unknown 6pk Code Name Found
Additional digging this morning has turned up a new Retro Collection code name “Odysseus” which corresponds to an as-of-yet unannounced 6pk.. The dimensions of this item (in terms of packaging) and price are the same as the other 6pks released previously. We know that The Phantom Menance 6pk has the code name “Diomedes” so could this be a set to represent Attack of the Clones based on its Greek-themed code name? I’ll continue to search for more info and update when possible.
TVC Rumor Report: New Unknown Playset or Vehicle Code Name Found
Doing some digging this morning, I was able to find a new Vintage Collection code name “Declan” which corresponds to an as-of-yet unannounced playset or vehicle. The dimension of this item (in terms of packaging) seems to be close to previous playsets like the Tantive IV and Carbon Freezing Chamber. If it is a vehicle, the size would most closely correlate to the Imperial Troop Transport. I’ll continue to search the streets for more info and update when possible.
Update: Price is set at $59.99 so I’m going to assume this is a playset
