In an odd move, Hasbro has released the entire Star Wars New York Toy Fair Presentation to German site starwars-figuren.com for the world to view. Head on over for a look, then come back to the forums and discuss all that was revealed.
Toyguide Update: G8-R3 (Walmart Exc.)
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the next addition for the 2012 “Darth Maul” product line. We continue with G8-R3 (4 of 12) from Walmart’s exclusive “Discover the Force in 3-D” collection.
PROS: Hasbro knocks one of the final Naboo starship astromechs off the “to-be-made” list with G8-R3. Since this droid uses the build-a-droid sculpt, you can incorporate/interchange its components with other B.A.D.s to create custom astromechs. For added play value, G8-R3 includes the droid power station accessory that is compatible with other astromechs and the 1999 Naboo Royal Starship vehicle/playset.
CONS: It utilizes the build-a-droid mold so it has those superfluous holes in the body, which some find unsightly. This figure is exclusive to Walmart and, as of yet, there are no plans for its release elsewhere. Its limited availability may prove to be difficult for for some collectors to find.
Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.

Toyguide Update: Aurra Sing (Walmart Exc.)
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the next addition for the 2012 “Darth Maul” product line. We continue with Aurra Sing (1 of 12) from Walmart’s exclusive “Discover the Force in 3-D” collection.
PROS: Aurra Sing gets an all-new sculpt for 2012 and it’s a great one. She features most of the necessary articulation collectors require (except ankle joints). The figure not only has a great design but is loaded with weapons and a cool trophy case to house the lightsaber hilts from her past kills. As a bonus, if you have trouble finding her at Walmart, she will be available later in the Vintage Collection.
CONS: Lacks ankle articulation.

Jerry and Dan are back to discuss their thoughts on Phantom Menace 3D, Hasbro’s Toy Fair announcements, and some other news that surfaced this past week. Hear what they think of the new Ewok and X-Wing figure packs as well as the look of the Star Wars line 2013. Was Yoda a good choice or should Hasbro have started a tradition of using characters that are introduced and killed off in the same movie? But, that’s not all, Brock from the Star Wars Action New Book Club is back to review the Darth Maul short stories and we have Steve the Ginergerprince’s 2012 debut with his UK report.
