So, You Were Disappointed By SDCC. Don’t Be.

Now that we’ve all had time to calm down since SDCC and come to terms with the fact that Hasbro is severely hamstrung by Lucasfilm (which is nothing new in a summer before a film release), we are here to put some lipstick on that puffer pig and remind you of what we can expect* for the rest of the year and beyond by recapping over 30 EXCLUSIVE RUMOR REPORTS that you won’t read anywhere else, and if you do, they were likely reposted/referenced from this site (usually without attribution).

*All rumors are subject to change and/or cancellation by the manufactuer and nothing is confirmed despite evidence of such products in development and/or slated for release. Captain America, nor his ass, endorse this information.

TIE Dagger Name Revealed

The cover for the upcoming Visual Dictionary for The Rise of Skywalker has been revealed and on it, we get a great detailed shot of one of the Knights of Ren as well as an official name one of the new TIEs from the film – the TIE Dagger. Could these specialized fighters be for the Sith Trooper division? Rumor says yes, but I guess we’ll have to wait for official word of that. Click the image above for a closer look.

Target Exclusive 10″ Funko POP! D-O Info Found

It appears that the new droid sidekick, D-O, from The Rise of Skywalker will be getting the 10″ Funko POP! treatment as a new listing with the code name “Limerick” has surfaced in Target’s system. We first reported the code name back in February, and started compiling evidence attributing the name to D-O ever since, tying it to products for the Black Series and interactive/radio controlled droids. The DPCI for the 10″ POP is 323-01-7303 and retails for $29.99

Rumor Report: E9 TVC Wave Update

As a follow up to our original exclusive rumor report from April, we have acquired new UPCs and Walmart SKUs for the first wave of TVC figures slated to be released for Force Friday on October 4 for the official kick off of merchandise for Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. Interestingly, we found info for yet another Luke Skywalker from A New Hope that has a unique UPC from the Yavin Ceremony version which we first revealed in March. This could be either the Stormtrooper Disguise or X-wing pilot figure that were revealed at Star Wars Celebration, the latter of would make sense considering the release of his TVC X-wing Fighter this year.

We have also added the E9 assortment UPC and SKU (which will change for the Vintage Collection) to our Master List as well.

New Vanity Fair Features TROS

Next month’s Vanity Fair will feature an in-depth first-look covering the details of Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. Accompanied by photography by Annie Leibovitz, the story will give readers our best look yet at the final chapter in the Skywalker Saga. Print editions featuring two collectible covers will be on newsstands on June 4.

Rumor Report: Walmart Exclusive 6″ TROS Figure?

Some more late night digging turned up a non-sequential UPC for an upcoming 6″ Black Series figure from The Rise of Skywalker. The figure is coded similarly to other speculated troopers with the label “E9 Bruges Rocket Pearl” – could this be the white First Order Rocket Trooper seen in those quick frames in the teaser trailer? Time will tell. Feel free to give your own theories as the the identity of this character.
