Speculation has been swirling like an icy wind around the possible Black Series exclusives for this year’s SDCC and we believe we have some frozen solid details for the first of three potential offerings. Echoing back to previous years, SDCC exclusives are often based on what’s come, and that holds true here, but it also pulls in another figure from out of the blue (with a fresh new face). Although not entirely scene accurate, the presentation may get you all mushy over it.
Based on some intel and cross-referencing of our recently acquired UPCs from Brickseek, it looks like Target may get yet another exclusive 6″ Black Series figure. Based on the above UPC/DPCI and its code name of “Chronos”, we surmise that it is White Worm member, Moloch. With the figure’s large size, it also slots into a larger price point of $29.99.
Chalk this up as an unconfirmed rumor for now until officially confirmed by Hasbro or when it shows up online, which ever comes first. Info has been added to our Master List as well.

Entertainment Earth has opened preorders for the previously rumored Imperial AT-DT Walker from Solo: A Star Wars Story. It is packed 2 per case along side Han’s Speeder.

U.S. collectors will be waiting a little longer for the Walgreens Exclusive 6″ Black Series General Veers as compared to our overseas friends. We received word that we can expect this in the Fall and it will retail for $19.99 (no exclusive mark up).
Back in February a leaked image was floating about showing a 3.75″ scale TIE FIGHTER heading to the Force Link 2 line from Hasbro. Surprisingly, it didn’t drop with the release of the first wave of Solo merchandise, but we can now report, thanks to Brickseek, it is coming soon. Slotted in as the first “Class C” vehicle for this line look, the price is expected to be $39.99. Due to the angle of the leaked image, it is unclear if this is the standard TIE or the cool TIE BRUTE that we briefly saw during the pursuit in the maelstrom, but I’d expect the standard TIE configuration based on products already released by Mattel and LEGO. The UPC, DPCI and Walmart SKU have been added to our Master List. Expect to see the first images of this at SDCC (if not sooner).

My oh my, what an uninspiring time the retail scene is these days for Star Wars…
5POA for the Solo line is front loaded with non-Solo movie figures, 6″ TBS is a rare store find at all, and TVC has kicked off with carry forwards that Walmart is pushing to the clearance section (hopefully this stops with Wave 2 and we see true peg space dedicated to them).
The only place worth even stopping to check out the Star Wars section at all in my neck of the woods is Target, who at least seems to be trying (but even there, the scene is pretty sad) . How goes it in your area?

Based on our report this morning and after some additional digging on Brickseek it looks like that rumored* Target Exclusive 6″ figure will be Princess Leia (Bespin Outfit). As stated earlier, price point is set at $19.99 and has an estimated availability of early August. The assigned UPC and DPCI codes are provided in the image above and have been added to our Master List.
